Scheck & Siress acquires Woodfield Orthotics and Prosthetics

Oakbrook Terrace, IL – Scheck & Siress announces the acquisition of Woodfield Orthotics and Prosthetics, a Chicago-based provider of orthotic and prosthetic care owned by Brett Kramer, CPO. Woodfield was started by Brett’s father, Steve Kramer, back in 1983. Brett purchased the business from his father in 2000. Brett and his team bring combined experience in excess of 50 years in the orthotic and prosthetic field providing quality care for pediatric and adult patients. Woodfield has three offices in South Barrington, Geneva and Huntley, IL.
“We are excited to welcome Brett and his team to Scheck & Siress. It brings together two companies with a common commitment to a patient-first focus and doing whatever it takes to meet our patients’ specific needs. Brett is a great leader and we are pleased that he is joining the Scheck & Siress leadership team. He has built a strong business focused in the western suburbs which is a perfect fit with Scheck’s existing footprint. This increases our network to 15 locations in the Chicago and Northwest Indiana area. This is part of our ongoing commitment to grow our business and expand our scope to make Scheck’s leading orthotic and prosthetic care even more convenient for patients,” said Jim Kingsley, Chief Operating Officer of Scheck & Siress.
“We are very excited to bring together these two great companies. I am honored and proud to be joining this solid team of practitioners. Woodfield O&P and Scheck & Siress have established reputations of excellence over many decades in the Chicagoland area. It makes great sense to strategically align our companies to enable us to continue providing the quality care our patients deserve for decades to come. We look forward to many great things as a Scheck & Siress company,” said Brett Kramer, President of Woodfield Orthotics & Prosthetics.
