Providing the right prosthetic limb for the needs and activity level in pediatric amputees is truly a specialty. When your child needs a prosthetic device, you want a specialist who has not only the technical experience, but also the ability to communicate and connect with your child. Our clinicians understand that kids are not just little adults.
Their goal is to help your child realize their fullest potential. Since its inception in 1953, caring for the limb-deficient child has been a focal point at Scheck & Siress. It remains so today.
Easier for You
We have locations all around the Chicago area and a team of clinicians, many of whom have decades of experience in prosthetic care for children. With a variety of office locations and convenient day and evening hours, we make getting an appointment to see your prosthetist easy.
Care with Communication
It takes a well-coordinated team to provide optimum prosthetic care. As a parent or caregiver, you are a key player on that team. Your child’s doctor, therapist and school aide may team up with your prosthetist to help that child reach his or her potential.
For 25 years, Scheck and Siress has provided the prosthetic care for Shriners Hospital for Children in Chicago. We also participate in other prosthetic clinics in the city and suburbs, working side by side with other members of the pediatric rehab team.
