Tim is an American Board Certified and Illinois Licensed Prosthetist and Orthotist.
Tim decided to pursue a career in the field of Prosthetics and Orthotics after doing humanitarian work in underdeveloped parts of the world. He has a diverse background within the field of Prosthetics and Orthotics, having worked in both private and institutional settings. The thing he likes most about his position is problem solving with his patients.
Tim’s previous position was at the Department of the Army’s Center for the Intrepid in San Antonio, Texas. While at the CFI, he provided emerging technology in both orthotics and prosthetics to active and retired wounded service members. He has also lectured and trained individuals in the areas of upper extremity prosthetics and the Intrepid Dynamic Exoskeletal Orthosis (IDEO). Tim participated in the Prioriti-MTF study examining the efficacy of the IDEO.
Tim has had specialized training and experience in the application of myoelectric/microprocessor controlled upper and lower extremity prosthetic componentry.
Tim holds a BS in biochemistry from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, CA. He completed his prosthetic and orthotic training at California State University Dominguez Hills. Tim loves the ocean and enjoys spending time with his wife and kids.
