John is the laboratory manager for the Scheck & Siress Hickory Hills office. With over 31 years of experience, John cares for patients in the office and frequently attends prosthetic clinics at Ingalls, Holy Cross, and Oak Forest Hospitals.
In addition, John is an adjunct faculty member of Northwestern University’s Prosthetic Education Department and has served as an examiner for the American Board for Certification Exam. He has also volunteered in Cali, Columbia where he made prostheses and trained local technicians on fabrication techniques.
John is an active member of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists, its Midwest Chapter, the Illinois Society of Orthotists and Prosthetists and Pedorthists, and the International Society of Prosthetists and Orthotists. John served as president of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists Midwest Chapter in 1980.
John received his Associates of Art Degree from Olive Harvey Chicago College and his prosthetic training from Northwestern University. |
