Angela is an American Board Certified and Illinois Licensed Orthotist caring for patients in Scheck & Siress’ Schaumburg office. In addition to caring for patients in the office, Angela attends several pediatric clinics in the area.
Prior to practicing orthotics in the Schaumburg office, Angela conducted orthotic and prosthetic research, specifically with the GaitRite® system. The GaitRite® is a gait analysis tool that records various parameters such as speed, step length and step time and allows the researcher to analyze, for example, how a person walks with an orthosis or prosthesis compared to without.
Angela is a member of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists and its Midwest Chapter. Angela was awarded the 2007 Gunther Gehl Scholarship from the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists Midwest Chapter. This scholarship is given to the most deserving orthotist and/or prosthetist resident in the Midwest Chapter`s region.
Angela graduated from Notre Dame University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. She received her Orthotic education from Northwestern University. |
