Seal-In Liner Suspension
The new Iceross Seal-In Liner from Ossur is a new suspension design utilizing a silicone sealing membrane.
Liners are fit to an individual’s measurement. The insert is very similar to the silicone suction locking liners, also from Ossur, but without the pin on the bottom. The benefit of this type of suspension over the locking liners is that there is no pulling on the bottom of the insert. The silicone sealing membrane creates a hypobaric suction below the seal. A one-way valve on the bottom of the socket maintains the suction fit throughout the day and allows for application and removal of the prosthesis. This design can be fit to most types of amputations (Transtibial & Transfemoral) and for various activity levels.
